He's not a young man anymore as he now enters his fifth season in the NBA. We've seen glimpses of his potential but have yet to see it in a consistent basis for a whole series or regular season. Is this the year he finally breaks through and becomes an All Star (the big three all had AllStar appearances prior to the fifth year)? Does he have the offensive game to lead this team or does he continue the Robin role to possibly now Aldridge now?

The leading scorer isn't always the most impactful player on the team.
he was our leading scorer last year
I think he'll be an allstar this year but always be a complimentary player IMO. He's a stat stuffer because he can do so much well but he's not a natural scorer
What a stupid thread le.
Kawhi can't "break". He's the reigning DPOY, has a fMVP under his belt, and nothing but upside. Unless you're suggesting he "break" a bone, you are a ing re and should go kill or your mother some more.
OP should retire after this.
Not only is he 24 with a FMVP, he hasn't even been let off the leash yet.
What a stupid thread lmao

OP is a piece of . Commit suicide bro.![]()
I think Kawhi has already proven himself so it isn't really a question of 'make of break'.
Spurs are actually less efficient if they are relying on Kawhi to post up and score. Spurs need to score efficiently and not rely on raw individual talent like other teams.
Spurs win when Kawhi is looking for his own. Just ask Pop.![]()
You guys have to forgive Longtimespursfan, he's in his sixties (he has to wake up 3x a night to take a piss) and forgot Kawhi won Finals MVP and DPOY.
Not a make or break for KL. He got paid. It should be a make or break for the KL fans though. They keep touting him as SA leader, scoring machine, all defense, etc. KL has to take the reins and show that he can control pace when important/close
Don't hold back, tell us what you really think.
If he doesn't make all star this year he'll never make it. Role Player+ is his destiny since he's too autistic to carry a team, tbh
I don't know, Charles Barkley could carry a team and he can't even read
OP is a got.
Getting owned by Splitcuck of all people
Hes definitely a top 25 player. But no where near the top 10 or superstar that others on here portray him to be. At least not yet. But that's the issue, we keep waiting for him to take that big leap and become that player that deserves max money and he hasn't. Granted he was hurt quite a bit last season.
My question is he ever going to be the best player on the court or will he be in the same category as finals MVP Chauncey Billups or Andre Iguodala. Let's just hope we don't have to keep asking that same question every year.
