I hope he can recover to be effective, but with his mindset of facilitating and passing more this season, there's definitely less to worry about. It's pretty amazing that the Spurs don't even need Tony to score; LaMarcus, Kawhi, Green, and several others can all shoot the ball at a high percentage to the point where he can just drive and kick.

Here's hoping the added threats on offense and time to recover from injury will allow him to be effective again. The Spurs don't exactly have a solid point guard anymore if Tony goes down, and right now until proven otherwise (and especially without the burst and first-step that has been missing for years at this point), he's the weak-link in that starting unit both in offense and defense.

I think his minutes can be managed as long as we don't push him on short turnaround games. I'm worried that Manu will get a bit too hyped about his play and hurt himself. I do tend to worry too much.
