At the clutch last moments of a great game OKC with two studs in durant and Westbrook gave the ball to DION ING WAITERS and tony made him look like fuking prime Kobe. People can say what they want about tony but how do you win important games with a huge defensive liability??? Dion waiters is terrible. OKC was able to get back in the game with dion waiters. They went to him like 3-4 times in a row and he put tony in the spin cycle.

other things I saw. Kawhi is a god locking down KD for a great portion of the game and then put 32 on the board!

Rebounding on on the second unit with Boris and David west wasn't great. I think the second unit needs a traditional rebounder.

BUT IT ITS ONLY GAME 1 STILL GOT 81 MORE

Parker played solid defense on those awful Waiters shots. They just fell. He's a chucker, and unfortunately, sometimes bad players get rewarded for bad play. Parker's defense on switches was inexcusable, however. Our problem today was chemistry, knowing where to go. But the more glaring issue is how bad a rebounding team we are. That isn't necessarily a new issue, but that bench unit.. geez.

has there every been a player in the league(wing player) to score over 30, shoot almost 60%, and lock down the "best scorer" in the league during the same game? I've never seen that in my life.

Tony had a hand in Waiters face on most shots but Dion was having a Michal Jordan night.

The first shot was a bit of a sag, but the second was great D. I wouldn't say Parker got torched. LMA was a big let down. He let go of that defensive rebound that let Westbrook hit the corner three, and he also didn't gobble up that Green missed three.

Also Green was bad on offense (apart from two pretty unlikely runners), and his D wasn't up to his normal self.

Manu was all over the shot. Some stupid passes followed by good plays.

Look we lost a close one and didn't get enough by the two people, LMA and Green. We will be a in good hands going forward.

what does weight have to do with staying in front of a person and challenging a jump shot? Leonard is 6'7, durant is probably closer to 6'10. I would agree with u, but it seems as though whomever parker is guarding they are automatically hot, so "living with" someone taking bad shots with parker on them hasn't worked in years. Especially when Shumpert can have a good game.

tbh, Tony was all over contesting those shots..just a chucker getting them to fall in in one of those days..would rather live with him taking clutch shots than Durant and Russ..

Can you stop the Parker hate. OKC shots fell, Spurs didn't. Its THE FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON against the Spurs BIGGEST RIVALS. This Spurs team is going to take a month of two to gel. Be glad the Spurs play a lot of sorry teams in November as this will help them build chemistry while still getting W's.

Which PG on the bench could guard Waiters? Manu gonna play 36 min a game bc we don't have a PG who can defend? Think things through.

This. We got who we wanted to shoot, sadly his scrub ass made the shots. Won't happen when the lights are on.

Parker had a two point surplus against Waiters in fairly even minutes (26-21).

More of those and you win.

This. They just happened to fall. They normally don't. Players and teams that aren't very good tend to overachieve during the first few games.
