Burns & Gambo had their weekly spot with Suns GM Ryan McDonough yesterday afternoon on 98.7 FM in Phoenix. They asked how the Morris Case got so bad. McDonough jumped on the opportunity and indicted Gambo...

Gambo likes to run people out of town. This is well known.

That said, Marcus Morris was an idiot of his own making.

But Gambo holds some sway with the Phoenix populace, and he's been bad mouthing the Morrii for over a year now. Seems reasonable he poisoned fan opinion.

In listening, I think McDonough definitely disliked the lack of professionalism of Gambo chasing after Marcus and Markief on Twitter and bemoaning them everyday on his show. Gambo says it's not his job to help, which is true, but he was a complete tool, acting petty and childish. McDonough backtracked a bit, saying he was mostly amused by antics, but it's clear he wanted to publicly place an onus of responsibility for painting Phoenix media, and as a mouthpiece of the Suns, representing both fans and the organization in such a sick again fashion. It didn't cause the problems, but Gambo always inserts himself to make new ones or existing ones worse.
