Also worth mentioning is that Moreyball doesn't work, despite what his computer print outs say. 3 point shots are only the "most efficient" inside of a vacuum. Morey doesn't seem to consider that a missed 3 point shot is the worst kind of miss in basketball and leads to easy fast breaks. Houston gave up the 3rd most fastbreak points last season.

When Josh Smith abandons the ship & jumps on the Choke City bandwagon then you know there is something seriously flawed w/ the team. LoL @ Doc nabbing the two role players that steadied the ship last season: Josh/Prigioni.
Their flaw w/ his Moreyball theory is that none of the rotation players are pure shooters. Ariza is a streaky motha a & Brewer is a 29% career shooter from 3

You guys have to consider the fact that most people post are on this board because it's not like Realgm. Nobody comes to the Spurstalk NBA forum to talk serious basketball...its to get away and clown on these athletes and say incredibly offensive statements you would get banned for on any other site. Right now, OP would be banned on LG if he posted something like that (even though pix dont work there).
Umm yea....you think the mods here are bad just spend some time at LG....they straight up censor any criticism of Kobe and the Lakers.....I read that at LG only when I want to steal ideas and takes...but seriously though....all the mods are straight out of a convent or monastery.....seriously if you say something as simple as Kobe is shooting too much and not being a good leader or that Roy Hibbert runs like a cripple or that Byron Scott looks like the Black Pringles they fly off the handle in some kind of weird psycho meltdown...and will ban you over the slightest perceived infraction....they're like rouge cops out there killing people..the mods at LG clearly have an inferiority complex and aren't wrapped too tight...I have no doubts moderating that board is the most power they've ever had or will have in life.....so they're living that up...
