Its a lot harder than that tbh. Even at a low-income school like that you have state standards you have to meet, and if you don't multiple years in a row you're fired and its really tough to get hired in another district if that happens. Also, $50k a year is only for math/science teachers. Anything else and its maybe $36-40k unless you've been at it a decade.

being a teacher in Canada is one of the cushiest jobs you can get IMO..start near 50k, with the potential to top at around 80 IIRC..not nearly as many schools with low-income demographics as the US, a lot of days off during the school year, nice Summer break..

The woman in the video is a subs ute(I think) teacher in Chiraq, though..that's just a stupid decision..

It used to be an easy type of gig like that back in the day but not anymore when you factor in metric requirements and standardize testing. These teachers have to make sure a certain amount of kids pass the standardize tests along with getting good grades. If they don't live up to the metric requirements they get fired. This type of job is now like a sales job with unrealistic expectations and high turnover.
