I remember going to a game and seeing Blair out there looking really focused. The game was on the line and he and I both knew, he was ready! The whistle blew, and they passed it to him. I quickly thought " I feel bad for the opponent". With widened eyes, and sweat pouring down his forehead, he opened his mouth wider than Apo's mom's vagina and destroyed that #2 from Whataburger. He gave new meaning to the word "crunch time". I'm also sure victory never tasted so good.

So true. Game 6 of the 2013 Finals was a minor heartbreak compared to the ruination that losing DeJuan Blair brought to Spurs fans' hearts.

Blair's a good player when he plays hard. Too bad he only does it when he has a chance to do something for himself. Imagine if he cared about his teammates or winning.

Getting rid of Blair was the best thing that ever happened to us and delivered a championship.

If it werent for his dumbass kick to Tiago's head in game 4 against the Mavs that killed their momentum, we would still be out 5 and LeBroom would be in Miami and we probably wouldnt have Aldridge. One of the best front office moves ever to cut his ass.

He had more than that. He actually fooled Mav fans into thinking he was finally playing to his potential, then he kicked Splitter in the head and poof went their chance for an upset.

    I don't think that's fair.
I liked him when he was here. Not his fault he was under sized and out of position.

I liked him when he was here. I wanted him to do well. I saw his potential and wished he could play up to it. I defended him for a long time because people said that he didn't have the physical gifts to be able to play his position, which is completely incorrect. Blair is the poster child for a player who couldn't get over himself in Pop's system. He had the ability to dominate the boards, play defense and hustle every night. He didn't do any of those things. We've seen enough of what he's capable of on the rare nights that he decides to, and size and position never stopped him.

Except when he was with dallas and single handedly kept them in the series by owning tiago, other than that, you're correct
