Nah. He can just bench him like in 2014.
Possibly trying to wear him out or get him injured before the playoffs.
So he doesn't have to play him.
Nah. He can just bench him like in 2014.
these threads are getting a little ridiculous, tbh..
it's a good idea, 40 minutes a game would probably either get him in shape or get him injured...
Op has breath.
Also, try a little harder to fit in tbqh...![]()
??????
Instead of bashing Parker, I've started 2 threads with some different ideas.
The one where I proposed that he crawl up on Duncan's shoulders during the game as a kind of hybrid position.
And this one where I dig a little deeper into the reasons why he might be getting so much time.
All I want is another Spurs ring.
He's playing his lowest minutes played in his whole career, including his rookie season, by a decent amount.
Pop is playing Parker to see if he'll ever revert to his old form.
Congratulations! You cracked the case, just like cousin Vinny:
LOL. I like that show.
hmmm. seems like it's a lot. a whole lot.
Parker plays much better than last year, this hate starts to become incredible.
Me too..i just want another lobt...these parker fans sacrificing rings for a mere ppg..smdh
And he still leads the team in scoring and assists throughout the regular season and playoffs, lol.
Oh, right, he was injured in 1/2 a game that we almost choked away (took overtime to win), whereas when he played we won 3 others in that series by an AVERAGE of 27 points!!! Hahaha!
If you want another ring, then you're probably going to need Parker to lead the team in scoring and assists throughout the regular season and playoffs, and be our only All-Star and All-NBA player. We haven't seen a championship since then.
MORE PARKER!!!!!!!!!!
Stick to posting in the club. Don't bring that up here.
check basketball reference. He's playing almost 3 minutes per game less than his second lowest total (last year which was injury ridden)
I am VERY HAPPY with TP so far. Yes, his defense has slipped bad but with how elite the starting unit defense is you can hide that mostly. Like everyone else (except Kawhi/Manu) TP is finding his spots. But physically? He's looked damn good and has so much more burst & lift so far.
Completely agree - he is by no means MVParker and never will be, but he is having bursts where he looks similar to his old self (offensively, anyway). Transitioning to his rightful role is the main adjustment he has to make and at the moment, it isn't perfect, but the shot attempts are way down.... which is what everyone whinges about.
Really wanna meet CIA Pop sometime. Sounds sneaky and conniving.
tbh...
on a side note this thread is![]()
Went to the Wizards game last week and Tony looked really, really good physically in comparison to last season. His time on the court has decreased and he is adjusting well to not being the focal point of the offense anymore. As long as he's healthy and mentally engaged, I think he'll continue to look better and better.
Keeping him, Tim and Manu's minutes way down is going to be key to having a "fresh," focused and capable team in April, May and June. I even think that McCallum, Simmons/Butler and Boban should play in place of them during all 2nd nights of a back-to-back.
