Protecting MJ's Legacy? Phil took a lot heat for sitting Kobe the fourth....so he released him the next game and Kobe scored 81....Kobe could have easily dropped 100 on the Mavs tbh

    After 3 quarters it was

    Kobe 62
    Mavs 61

25 free throws in three quarters is probably more impressive

If you gave Kobe, Jordan's athleticism, he'd average 50 and score 100 point multiple times.

The Spurs are no threat... they're not even a top 5 team in the West.

I had a friend was a big baseball player
    back in high school

He could throw that speedball by you
Make you look like a fool boy

Saw him the other night at this roadside bar
I was walking in, he was walking out

We went back inside sat down had a few drinks
but all he kept talking about was

Glory days well they'll pass you by
Glory days in the wink of a young girl's eye
    Glory days, glory days

He is sort of, didn't get a finals MVP in his first ring.

He made it up to Kobe by letting him play the 4th quarter of Game 4 in that 2011 butt ing Dallas delivered to the Lakers 4 times in a row.

Lets be clear....after 3 count em....3 straight FINALS appearances preceded by an Olympic gold medal run....Kobe nem losing to the Mavs was not only inevitable due to the fatigue of such deep basketball runs but was a well needed break...Kobe nem didn't really try they were tired and again it was because of 3 straight finals preceded by Olympic gold by Kobe...he was just tired tbh
