Simmons played good. Manu sits. Tim plays.
I hope they are a go, tbh..Light workout vs the Bucks: TD 20 mins/Manu 12mins (sat out 2nd half)...all other starters under 25.. Aldridge has often struggled against their front line, we'll need TD to help out..
Simmons played good. Manu sits. Tim plays.
Unless Duncan plays 40+ minutes the night before, don't expect him to sit any games unless it's a special cir stance (like Thanksgiving was).
Aside from that Tim hasn't missed a game since last December. He'll be good to go tomorrow (and we'll need his size vs Memphis' frontline).
I've been hoping Manu sits out for several games now with the way he's been struggling. Hopefully Simmons gets all of his minutes for now.
We need healthy Manu is all.
Not sure Simmons is quite ready to take all of Manu's minutes against the Grizz just yet. That would be ideal. Nonetheless, I would be surprised if Manu payed against Memphis. Tim - yes.
hopefully he rests kawhi so he doesn't lose confidence against barnes
IJust give Simmons minutes... Manu can get rhythm come playoff time..... He is still valuBle but it is more important to develop Simmons and get manu as much rest as possible...... Whether he has rhythm in December is irrelevant to the ultimate goal of this team.
Before the game got so lopsided I thought that Tim wouldn't play tomorrow. But given how little he played I would assume now that he will play. Manu played even less that Tim, so I think he will be okay.
I think they'll both play, with perhaps Manu on minutes restriction... what i'd like to see is Patty playing better on the road, being more aggressive. Same with Bobo.
I get where you're going with this, but as Manu himself said, this is an important part of the season for the team itself, getting to know the new teammates and developing that chemistry on the court... that's why he doesn't want to miss many games right now... I think if this team is looking more solid come January/February, both him and Tim are going to get nights off more often.
Unless Pop is a liar, Ginobili won't play. Duncan will play but won't play more than 20-22 minutes.
Both will play. 5 losses at this point of the season will be too much.
KL looked spent against the Bucks...no gas at all....Maybe KL should take a night off.....
Not really....
tell that when the spurs will need the last game of the season for a critical seeding again
Still early in the season......Still ways to go .....
18 minutes tonight for Tim. 12 for Manu. Both barely broke a sweat.
Late game tomorrow.
They'll play.
They also had a good record after november last year
Danny Green needs a break......Did you see him shoot that 3pt shot that got stuck on the side of the rim.....Danny has not been the same this yr....
Both will play, recent looses have shown pop he cannot fool around too much.
Plus Manu only played 12 minutes, if he was going to sit out tomorrow he would have played more tonight just to get the team to practice a bit.
Yes, very ugly, and a wide open shot.
En route to 60 wins .. how are 5 losses too much ffs?
Good lord spent this early in the season on a non b2b at 24? If he is spent and needs rest off of that he needs better conditioning. He at this point in career should be good all 82 games and then some.
Yes but they were a later seed most of the year, this year they are a 2nd seed starting december so hopefully no scrambling for a seed this year late like last season.
