I used to think Spurs fans hated Kobe because of the 5>4 argument. Now I realize its because he dominated your team and is better than Duncan.

The Kobe hate didn't start getting bad here until the Pau era. Most Spurs fans hated on Shaq back when LA was running circles around us during their 3-peat, not Kobe (even though he was the one destroying us from 2001-2004). OP's a troll but the reason spurs fan hated Kobe was combination of a few things. The media over hyping and trying to sell him as the next Mj when he was clearly a fraud. The media giving this guy too much credit when it was really Shaq,Gasol who deserved it. Again the Media screaming this guy was better than Duncan when he never was. I would say a lot of people hated the fact that he was a media and attention along with his arrogant sociopath personality.

They'd disappear when the Lakers lost because the world is full of the newer gots who don't ever take what they dish out. These are the types that grew up with gaming consoles and would insist you swap controllers with them if you were winning because your controller must be better, then they'd want to swap teams. They'd cherry pick the team with the 99 rating in Madden and want to play against you and your favorite team that had a 84 or so rating. I was actually on Kobe's side during that ordeal. I didn't start disliking Kobe until Shaq left and he picked 2007 playoffs to cry to Screamin' A Smith about quitting the team.
