For those who do so, what age do you consider the point of telling them the truth?

I let mine figure it out on her own. She was like 10-11.
It's not a case of "letting" them. It's a case of "teaching" them. I don't teach Santa so I've never had to deal with it. Same with invisi-buddy in the sky.

My 8 year old is already su ious.. This will probably be his last year as a "believer".. My dumbass for a Mom ruined my childhood because she didn't think her dead giveaway handwriting on the gift tags as "Santa" was gonna be an issue.
No. Some dumbass women at my job were saying how their husbands never wanted their kids to believe in that and how they went along with it. The inability to make a choice for themselves whether or not to teach them was horse .
What age did you tell them Jesus wasn't real either though?

The other issue I had was growing up in a house without a fireplace. Santa coming in through the window was a huge question mark.
Do you know how many times I stopped myself from doing something wrong as a kid because I thought "Jesus was watching"? I'm not gonna suggest anything to my kids until they're at least 25
, if I ever own a large company full of Christians I'll send an auto email every morning that Jesus is watching.
The day after Xmas my pops would take us to a toy store and we get whatever the we wanted.
Kids are pretty smart, they'll figure it all out. No need to rush things. The main thing is they enjoy that childhood, it only comes once.
I remember my grandma telling me once she's enjoyed giving gifts more than receiving, I thought she was crazy, now I feel that same way. Christmas really is about the kids.

I kinda ed up when I worked in the kindergarten and told some 4 or 5 year olds that he ain't real (I felt like Arnold Schwarzenegger)... They probably thought I was lying so all good.
