    FRance realised the miracle and win the right to go in quarter finals.



    Tony not great but overcame difficulties

    they are still in the compe ion.
    France 74 - 71 serbia

    Serbia was the clear favorite even the french radio can not beleive it!!!!!!!!!

    Tony 13pts 3 ass.
    the team was carried by rigaudeau. diaw and gelabale. piterus and julian inside were couragous. but Diaw is the men this summer.

    persoally i do want him back, but for his rep on this board since this world play is improtant to some, I want him to do his best. I dont think he deserves alot of the flak hes getting so maybe earn the respect of some of the haters.

    Hopefully France will win Lithuania.
    One on One the French are better players on the other hand Lithuania is a team.

    France can beat Lithuania only with great 3pt shooting and speed. Rebounding will be even at best, so shot accuracy and number of TO+ST will determine the winner. France will never outrebound them, that's for sure.

    So Parker's shot and speed will be very important, again. And Diaw's FT! Next team will make the best of them. Maybe even more then we did.

    Nothing.

    He didn't re-sign with the Sonics yet. They offered him the 1 year, Q.O. (3.9M), a three year deal (his request), and a long term deal worth about 50M including incentives. He turned them all down. They've been trying to do a sign-and-trade. Likely he'll just re-sign for one year there.
