Awwwww... You're a cool mom!
This Saturday my husband and I are taking my daughter and her friend to see My Chemical Romance at Sunset Station. I have a couple of questions for you guys & gals.
#1... I assume it's an outdoor concert. Is there seating at Sunset Station or do we bring our own lawn chairs. Is that allowed?
#2... Is this freaking hurricane going to cause it to be rained out? And if so do they refund our money or reschedule it or something.
#3... What should I wear so that I won't totally humiliate my daughter? She asked me not to dress conservatively, but I don't want to dress like a punk rock either. After all, I am 43.
I don't attend enough outdoor concerts to know these things.

#1 At Sunset station, there are some chairs out there but if you want to be right close to the band then you'll have to stand the whole time.
#2 Hurricane Rita is suppose to be coming around Friday, I know a lot of things have been canceled here where I live like football games and such and moved to Thursday. It is up in the air depending the weather.
#3 Just wear some rockish type shirt and pants? I just wear a rock shirt & pants when I go to rock concerts but I'm a guy so I don't know...you'll have to ask a girl on that

Their like that emo band my friend Neil and I formed back in tha year 2000. We were hardcore emo.
Simple Plan is one of her other favorite bands, along with Green Day.
Man if anyone knows a band in search of a singer, tell them to hit me up i know every song possible and im a great singer
How long has she been into emo? Was she into the pre-emo movement back in 2000-2001, or the hardcore emo? Or does she like plain ole' emo?

emo emo and hardcore emo, hardcore hardcore was all inbetween.
Green day doesn't really count cuz their producers made them become emo due to the emo emo movement mentioned above. Originally they were just sissy punk, still good though.

Not as far back as 2000-2001 because she is not that old. She has only been talking about these bands for a couple of years. She sings and plays the guitar and piano. I just had to go ask her what emo meant.
LOL. What was her exact response, if you don't mind?
Her response was that is was emotional punk rock with people who don't show a lot of emotion and usually have that blank melancholy look on their face and the black unwashed hair look. The lyrics are heavy in relationship stuff and usually very intense.
