What an outplay on both ends of the floor. MVWhi bullying niccas. If Steph wasn't Steph, then Kawhi would have a really serious case for MVP imho.

PG is still having a uva season...he just ran into the DPOY tonight.

Kawhi is a monster out there right now. Glad to see him start off cold yet continue to play his way outta it...then catch fire in the 3rd.

In fairness to PG, Kawhi has to legit 7 ft defenders to back him up if PG gets passed him on the perimeter. I do think Kahi is better, but I think he also benefits from being on a much better team.

Fairness is overrated. If I'm starting a team and have the choice between PG and Kawhi, it isn't even close now. And I don't think Kawhi has hit his ceiling like George has.

I only started watching the 2nd half, so I didn't see the cold start.

Of course but he pretty much played PG 1v1 on most occasions.

Indiana's role players outplayed the Spurs' lol, that's why they were in the game.

Wanting to say he started off 2-7...missed a lot of easy shots. It's all good though...he turned it around quickly in the 2nd half.

BTW...Kawhi had a couple of nice ass passes tonight.

The one to MVPatty cutting to the rim, the one to MVPatty who was cherry picking, and the behind the back (saving it from going out of bounds) to MVParker for 3 come to mind.

Those 2 passes were after 2 misses. Instead of forcing up, he chose to make a play for others. Watch out NBA

That behind the back save to Tony was just awesome. At that point in the game, with it almost won, a lot of guys wouldn't have even gone after that ball. Kawhi flew out the end and put it right into Tony's waiting hands. The 3 iced the game, but Kawhi's hustle play would have been fantastic, even if Tony missed the shot. That's MVP-style effort and an example to all the other guys on the team. Leading.

    Good matchup

Kawhi played well after missing a couple of easy looks in the 1st quarter. Kawhi defended george well, george didnt really have any good looks until late in the game but at that point he was ice cold. Tough night for paul george, kawhi dominated this one tonight

Kawhi is more valuable than Curry because he's an elite 2-way player.

True but there is also his offensive output against Kawhi even after starting slow.

After the cold start, he missed open 3's and a couple of bunnies in the first quarter, he made almost every shot he took.

    Great performance
