I'm in town from San Diego. Just watched my first ever home game. Kinda disappointed at the selection of merchandise at the ATT Center. Where is the best place in town if I want to get Spurs gear like shirts, hats or even novelty Spurs gifts?

The Academy? Thats where we bought.
I use to refuse to rock Spurs gear when I lived in Texas because it was such a generic look there and Hispanic people gave it a bad look. Now that I live in another state I like rocking Spurs shirts. Off topic.... but that is one cool thing about living somewhere else.

Those might be the two worst options to buy Spurs gear.
If Academy in Austin is stocked with gear, I bet the SA locations have a wide selection.

The flea markets are good. There's one on Eisenhower that has an awesome sports store all sorts of Spurs .
you will be disappointed at the selection of merchandise in any store in sa tbh. there's academy... but anything you can find there you can find at the fan shop. idk why someone would suggest walmart, especially target.
HEB. SAMs sells nice black Spurs polos tbh. I like wearing them on casual Friday at work. Everyone else rocks football jerseys and but you can't ever go wrong with the good guys!
Regarding eisenhuaer flea market, they have a nice selection of shirts jerseys and general merchandise. But the location is shady. I believe victory sports at rolling oaks mall has a very good selection. Don't go to to s though. I went to the one at the rim and was shocked at the total lack of Spurs gear. I was almost offended as I looked over at all the Rangers/cowboys crap they had. I should've told those ers this isn't Arlington.

NBA store dot com. Easily the best selection. Yes, it's a little expensive but a ton of stuff, easy to search and buy online.
I visited San Antonio a few months after the 2014 le. Most of the good stuff was sold out at Academy and other stores. I also visited Austin during my trip and found a surprising amount of decent and affordably priced Spurs gear at Marshall's or TJ Maxx (I forget which). FYI in case you'll be visiting Austin during your stay.
