It's a raw stat and starting point for analysis. When Bonner was on the floor someone made the basket for Denver. It doesn't have to be Bonners fault, but if a player has negative plus/minus more often than not, he's playing poorly.

If one player sucks in every lineup he is in he is a bad player or he doesn't fit with the team.
Nor can what you just said or what I just said, that didn't stop either of us from saying it. That's because some things are self evident.
