    Not really. Maybe if you're just looking strictly at advanced metrics and ignoring any context, sure, but Duncan/Robinson both had several more impressive seasons when you account for the fact they were having to carry the team night in and night out. Duncan/D-Rob were playing 38+ mpg a night in their primes and had nowhere near the help that Kawhi is getting now.

    I have a hard time seeing an argument for Kawhi's current season being better than any of D-Rob's seasons from '94-96. Same goes for Duncan from '02-04. That's not to say Kawhi isn't having an amazing season...I just think it's asinine to overlook the fact that he's not having to shoulder the same load as Tim/David.

    we're not even halfway through the season yet. but I hope he keeps it up, he has been pretty astounding thus far. gotta give OP some credit, I was always a Kawhi fan but never thought he would be this good
