Impressive...50+ wins is a lock this year too. That will be 17 consecutive fifty-plus-win seasons! 19 winning seasons. And it all started with the arrival of Tim Duncan, the best power forward and best teammate to ever play the game.

This week I've been looking at schedule and I wonder if we can win 6 more in a row to be at 35-6. On pace for 70 wins.

It's possible. Also, with Curry reinjuring his shin, the Warriors could lose a game or two before they meet the Spurs on the 25th. Can't wait to see that game!

Both teams will be on three days rest. If all the key players are healthy, it will be as good as any game in January can get.

No doubt. I just hope both rosters are healthy and at full strength. Hopefully, Pop and/or Kerr don't make up some sort of excuse to hold out players from this game.

That is with Danny Green sucking, LMA just being integrated and the 4th wing still being experimented on.

    We're not 35-0, how disappointing.

Of course their could be improvements record aside.
Aldridge shot selection. He looks like he could kill in the medium post.
Porker - Patty seem really off some games. Not just the stats but clanking badly.
Coach Power Trip keeping Boban on the bench.

    Positives are many.

    Spurs players occupy slots 1, 2, 5, 7, 9, 11 & 15 in defensive rating

For sure...if Marco was back he'd be 3 or 4.

I wish they would schedule more big matchups that way. I get kinda tired of having to watch the Spurs play OKC as the 4th road game in 5 nights or something else nonsensical vs them having 2-3 days off in advance after a stretch of home games with rest days between them all.

that 2011 team winning 61 games while on pace for 65-67 before a 6th game losing streak to end the year is still one of the most unfathomable Spurs stories, tbh yeah they were fools gold, but it wasn't like the league was that season or the West was as bad as the East in which the Hawks won 60 games last season....they did it with Timmy looking like a corpse mostly..Pop shat the bed vs the Grizz, but still, he won 60 with this roster

Gosh...hindsight is 20/20 but other than the big 3 being closer to their prime, that's a pretty average looking lineup.

    James Anderson...damn...what a disappointment.

no, actually Duncan looked the worst in his career that season..it is absolutely ridiculous that we won 60 in spite of it..in a year where Heat/Chicago/Dallas/OKC/LAL/Denver were good to teams..

Good thing came out of it. A top 3 player in the NBA for at least 9 seasons more.
