James was the first, voting for Cleveland teammates Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love and then his close circle of friends. Then Wade and Paul followed and then Anthony. He also voted for Kristaps Porzingis, and added the hashtag “#Knickstothe6.”
“Of course,” Anthony said. “He should be up there. He should be getting some votes. I would love to be with him in Toronto. Just for him to have that experience – why not?”
Anthony believes Porzingis is a future All-Star.
“For sure,” Anthony said. “He’s going to be here for a long time. He’ll be there.”
Anthony was fourth among frontcourt players in the first returns. But this could help him jump over Detroit’s Andre Drummond into third. The top three start. Porzingis was eighth, but he’s a lock for the Rookie-Sop re Game during All-Star Weekend.
