Karma for firing McHale to be honest. As much flack as the guy got for his defensive schemes, he is the reason that the Rockets overachieved the past couple of seasons despite long strings of injuries.

idk man. Harden played out of his mind last year, west was weak (okc not healthy, spurs not healthy) grizzlies and portland were seeds 4 and 5.

That's a good one. I said it as it was happening that the Rockets were winning in spite of McHale as opposed to because of him. Harden lived up to his full potential and Howard was still a star, that, plus great 3-point shooting and key losses by the Spurs and Clippers is why the Rockets did so well last year.

I still wouldn't give that bum the max. He flops and flails his way to empty stats in the regular season, vanishes in the playoffs when the refs are more inclined to swallow their whistles, plays zero defense, and is a locker-room cancer. Houston is right up there with the Kings and Lakers as one of the most dysfunctional teams in the league with his "leadership." No thanks, I'd rather let some other team deal with his bull .

BTW, how does it feel knowing that the guy you said didn't belong in the NBA (Dragic) just dropped a cool 25 points and dragged Miami to a Game 7 win while the Suns are watching from home?
