Manu and Sjax had perfect chemistry. Spurs would have 3 peated if Sjax came back, there is no doubt in my mind about that.
Sorry if it have been posted, the video is since only 2 months ago. Enjoy.

Yeah, amazing chemistry. We will never know, but probably.
Something that surprise of the video is Manu's good defense even in his 1st year in NBA.

That momentum changing steal on game 6 though![]()
that basket at 4:13 in Game 3, I remember it like it was yesterday.... what a clutch, clutch basket..
Loved that season and that beautiful brand of defensive basketball played in that series... so nostalgic... it's such a damn shame how the NBA has mostly converted to jack-it-up and not play defense ball! Hate the new NBA, even the Spurs' defense now looks like crap compared to our defense that season.
Imagine if Manu had come right to the Spurs after being drafted. 2000 would have been his rookie year.
I was pissed that summer when Jax left, those two were beyond clutch those entire playoffs I remember. They would reign in the 4th Q's of key games with a barrage of threes.
Defense in that time was is another level. Now most NBA teams want dunks and highlights.
I don't know about you but I prefer those sorts of awesome offensive plays when they come at a premium instead of being a dime a dozen.
Me too, of course. But i'm just saying that many times people forget how important is defense to win championships.
This makes me wanna cry. I went to every home game that playoff run. Wish I appreciated more instead of just reason to talk and get drunk. StackJack Spurs hero 4 life!!!!!!!
Not related but still amazing. Manu was a force that night, and Gary ing Neal!, that was clutch.
