"I never looked to see what he was doing as something to push me," Bryant told reporters before his final game in Cleveland.

Don't doubt that, Kobe probably just saw lebron as a freak of nature that could get his numbers by blowing past people, there's really little he could have learned from lebron... Kobes game was always about skill

All about bigs carrying his ass. He never won anything without them. Disagree? If so, show prove that he did win without Shaq or Pau.

Let me extend the question to you as well , has Kobe won a championship without having his hands held?

    Great post

Lebron can be shut down by great teams that expose his lack of shooting and fundamentals

Kobe couldnt be stopped by anybody but himself

what do you want us to say, anyone would have been second fiddle to a prime shaq, kobe was far more than a role player though, role players don't put up 25/5/5, when two superstars join forces what do you get? Unprecedented results, a three-peat, Shaq was the guy though, not denying that.

Kobe was the main guy when gasol arrived and when they won the championships though, he needed gasol just as much gasol needed kobe.

No one is saying Kobe wasn't a good player. He was but he is given all the credit and that's not really fair.

Fact is, his bigs did mostly all the work and that notion was proven right when Shaq left and he couldn't win without a proper big guy. Same thing with Gasol. He got chased off and Kobe hasn't been able to do anything with his team.
