I hadn't checked spurs talk so I had no idea about Leonards injury. When I saw his picture on the screen with the starters I was like

What is the Leonard injury? (I too had not known at beginning of game and insta muted Grant Hill.)
I was thinking "good".
Spurs need to really see what they have with this guy and this is a perfect spot to throw him out there.
I thought I overpaid for my ticket (till I saw Duncan out there, contrary to that rumor).

I turned the game off.
I was half asleep as it was 5:30 AM. Passed out during pregame, missed the game, and didn't realize Kawhi didn't play until this morning. Since I read the headline that we lost before I saw the box score, Kawhi not playing was kind of a relief. I thought "no way we got blown out AGAIN with our best player in the line up."
By Pop's account Kyle did well. He and Butler have to come through for us while KL is out.

Seriously, I skiped the game and just watched the late night reply. Forwarded the free throws, timeouts etc to save time.
Pop letting him start in front of his folks.
I was thinking that, by the time he finished running from one end of the court in the first quarter to the other end, the game would be over.

I thought it would be interesting...and it was. With so many out, on both sides, this game was more of a "well, letsee here..." Really didn't have the much vested in the outcome.
Kyle did fine. But, he's no kawhi and we could not score. LMA looked terrible and the Spurs looked dazed and confused. This team is still struggling to find it's iden y. We all knew who we were and what to expect with the "big three." Now, I never know what to expect from game to game. It's been an interesting season so far...lol
