This article from Sept. 2015 is a great reminder of the type of guy Matt Bonner is, was and will be...regardless of what lies ahead.

In case you missed reading this before, it's great insight & inspiration for whatever your age and station in life may be.

"Matt Bonner was standing behind the basket in Las Vegas. He was watching an NBA Summer League game and studying the rosters of the players and conferring with a colleague all at the same time. He was already beginning to prepare for his next life"...read more in link here:

Matt Bonner frustrates a lot of Spurs fans, but he's unquestionably a guy who has it all together. He's taken an elite athletic skill and parlayed it into opportunities for himself and his family both now and into the future.

He's in a small handful of players who've lasted 10 years with the Spurs. He seems to be beloved by his teammates and his coaches. He's a good guy in the community and seems to have a wonderful perspective on his career. Whenever the end of the road comes for him as a Spurs player, I'll be grateful for his efforts and commitment to the franchise.
