Now that you made this thread someone will probably get a career ending injury. Why aren't you pinked yet.
according to the GS beat writer, he usually plays Duncan well.

No Iggy or Bogut tomorrow. If the Spurs can't win tomorrow night at home, it'll be an indictment on them that they just can't hang with this team. No excuse not to win tomorrow.
Warriors are playing on the road on the 2nd night of a back-to-back without Bogut, Iguodala, and Ezeli. Meanwhile, Spurs will be extra motivated after that 30-point loss in Golden State. All signs are pointing to a Spurs blowout win tomorrow.
Definitely. No excuses. Put up or shut up.
Kerr jokingly said after the Mavs game, "If I had any guts at all, I'd sit everybody tomorrow". Referencing Pop, he said he didn't have that kind of courage.![]()
Speighs is a bigger problem than Bogut
That er is consistently drilling treys now smh
So they have no bigs on the roster besides Varejao? Our bigs should eat them alive in the paint
Yup.
There's something about GSW training that seems to crank out 3 point shooters.
Marreese doesn't protect the rim nearly as well as Bogut. Unless Boban is guarding Speights again, the 3-point threat from him isn't as big a problem.
Speights? Well... sorta. He was 3-5 against the Knicks on the 16th, but otherwise the best he's done all year is 2-2, and that not very often. He's been trying more 3s the last ten games, a few more, but his typical line is either 1-2 or 0-2.
Yes, Speights is 10 for 21 the last ten games, but I can't see that big a threat in a player who only tries 2 threes a game, and might make 1. For the whole season so far, he only has 45 attempts.
Bogut has a higher % than Speights! For the year, from 3pt range, Bogut is 1-1. lol
Another built in excuse.
Excuse or not, the pressure is on Spurs. Just win it please.
This is not good. Combined with Ezeli being out, that means they'll be playing plenty of small ball, particularly if the Spurs, as expected, jump on them. Sure, Iguodala being out robs them of a key player, especially in those lineups, but still.
The trickle down effect will inevitably lead to Pop obsessing with matching up, throwing away one of the Spurs' biggest potential advantages and playing inferior players (Anderson, possibly Miller) more than he should.
Hopefully, if they jump on the Spurs, he doesn't panic, go mad scientist, play nonsensical lineups, cycle through 12 players and have everyone not named Leonard going in and out every few minutes.
Ughhh! now if we win it won't be "counted". Well, we didn't have Duncan last game and they consistently got in the paint with weak ass Livingston. It's even.
Spurs will lose tonight even with these injuries. Spurs are simply not an elite team.
Spurs suck.. No way this old ass team is gunna win.. Spurs dont even start Bonner, I hate it when Tp does not have the ball in his hands the entire shot clock.. Wtf is wrong with this team?
Who the heck is Kahwi Leonard? Duncan should of won the MVP thingy And the Defensive player of the year.. He has not even done anything to warrant the ball in his hands. To me he's still a rookie. Kahwi is this dude starting?
Aldridge blows dong.. If he was related to one of the greatest actors in the entire history of motion pictures Danny Glover,
LMA's name would be Don Glover.
Spurs suck
Goldent State is gunna win by 30 again.. Just sayin
If this is a schtick, it needs a lot more work, tbh
That sound you hear is Pop's smallball boner.
Standings are all that matters. If the Spurs get HCA and win the le nobody's going to go back and ask who was healthy during a regular season game.
Kerr is just taking a page from Pop's book.
Not as much pressure on his team to win now with so many out, built in excuse. They can play much looser. If they do win without these players, serious confidence booster against us.
Also, it could be a strategy. We should be able to score inside easier, and go inside more because of that. Which means we'll be shooting more 2 point shots. And when it comes right down to it with the warriors...2's don't beat 3's.
Of course, I could be overthinking this. More beer should help.
Bogut's probably got a surprisingly good record against the Spurs. I remember the Bucks being really hard to beat a few years back.
