    Up close: From Oct. 4-28, NBA TV will begin airing daily reports that might be best watched with dirty gym towels nearby. The league-owned channel airs Real Training Camp coverage for all NBA teams — with live mikes on players and coaches.

    Steve Herbst, general manager of NBA TV, now in about 15 million households, says it will be "most expansive coverage of a preseason in any sport ever seen — nothing will be off-limits." Except, maybe, seeing players' locker combinations.

    did it say that NBA TV will carry any pre-season games?

    This sounds GREAT. I'm hoping NBA-TV will lavish so much attention on our Virgin Island-bound NBA Champs that the coverage will border on the obscene. I'll love it.

    i'm going to get NBA TV pretty soon. I wonder if Dish Network, will just let me add that for like a cheap price. Instead of all these channels...

    mine died a horrible death years ago an I never saw a need to replace it.

    Seriously, this is way cool! And yeah, NBA TV is part of the sports package with my carrier, which is only an extra $2 a month. Totally worth it!!

    i was wondering the same......i just got dish net and im not familiar with their pricing....

    what package do we have to upgrade to to get nba tv? and what price?
