b. Just the reality of last night is shaking niccas up. I know there are cliff jumpers upstairs but last night really haunted the Spur fanbase. Some are still talking tough and of course they are deflecting to how ty the lakers are or how Kobe missed the playoffs ...
But deep down none of that will console them when a team that looked this good ("we have a better scoring differential!!!" ..."we beat more teams by 20 points!!!" "Last year the Dubs faced all injured teams!!!!" We have an alltime great defense, and DEFENSe wins championships!!!) is bested by a team that is just flat-out better. All last year and this one these Dubs were compared by Spurfan (unfavorably) to the SSOL Suns or the one and done Mavs crew.
It hurts because last night might be proof that all the failings they wanted to see in the Dubs many have manifested themselves a stone's throw from the Riverwalk.
Oh, I get it ... we suck. Kobe's farewell is all we have from salad sandwich season especially if we lose our pick.

So Spurs fans responding to Laker fans celebrating another teams win is deflecting but Laker fan creating Spur related threads on a Spurs forum instead of Laker threads is not deflecting.

They do. Not every team is as bad as the Lakers. Spurs are a great team with room for improvement especially against GS. The point is you bandwagoning other teams isn't owning up to LA sucking by your logic. If you bring up another team (like Spurs fans bringing up LA in these threads) then you are deflecting. Well since Laker fans are starting non-Laker threads, it's all just a deflection on how bad LA is.
