Cavs in 6, IMO... but don't sleep on this series...
Could be compe ive if Detroit had any shooters, tbh..very limited team from a personnel standpoint..
I wanna see what playoffs Kevin Love looks like, tbh
Cavs in 6. LeBron has a throwback performance in the clincher.
cavs in5
The coaching difference between these teams is massive, which cannot be ignored. Gonna call the upset and say Pistons in 9.
Not much to comment here. Delonte's children in 5
Pistons actually match up decently against the Cavs. They have an athletic big in Drummond who can control the rebounding at both ends. They have a scoring point guard who will force Kyrie to defend (unless they switch off him, and actually both teams may switch guards defensively, Kyrie on Pope and Reggie on Smith/Shumpert). And they have two forwards with size and mobility who can take turns on LeBron.
That said, I do think the Cavs take the series. For each game, the Pistons success will likely depend on their perimeter shooting and their bench. They're not a good shooting team but if they have a couple guys get hot from three point range in a given game, they have a chance. Their bench has been erratic and inconsistent most of the season. If they get some production from a few unexpected guys, it also helps their cause.
The Pistons have a legitimate shot at stealing a couple games. But Cavs are clearly the better team with two guys in LeBron and Kyrie who could each drop 40+ on the Pistons in a given game. I also think Reggie Jackson could single-handedly lose a couple games for the Pistons when he decides to go hero ball late in close games.
Cavs in 6.
Cavs in 5. LeBron goes beast mode in the closeout game...like 45/15/12.
I like the Piston's chances to win the series. I want to see their approach in game 1 and the officiating most of all.
