What's the problem with Whiteside tbh...besides his occasional mental outbreaks. He actually has a nice game that fits with this era and he's improved his shooting/post up ability to be a reasonable option.

I don't have a problem with his game, I'm just 100% convinced that he's going to mail it in once he gets his max deal

Dan LeBa (essentially a Heat insider, close friends with Riley and Arison, etc) has discussed the Heat's reluctance to give him a max deal for this reason(along with his personality off the court)..
