I like the way DarrinS participated in that thread after the story was debunked, then proceeded to post it again a month later.
DarrinS can't resist a lie he likes, even when he knows it's a lie.
That's to his credit: lies are politically effective. Every propagandist knows it.
A pleasing lie goes around the world five times before the truth gets out of bed and puts it shoes on. DarrinS counts on this.
That's why he keeps telling the same lies over and over. Never gets old for him.
Even if it were true, no politician in recent memory has been criticized for having the support of undesirable groups. They have been criticized for being slow to distance themselves from that support.
