Dont change a thing Billy, you got it next time
if Sam Presti wasn't hipster and fake-smart type, he would be Mark-Jackson status once he eventually get fired in OKC.. the way he bungled the coaching part--among other things-- in his tenure is absolutely unforgivable..
the soon-to-be OKC closed le window (2012-2016) is going to be a case study on how a franchise can waste the prime years of two top 5 players![]()
Taken out of context.
That's Billy. He's in my class. I heard he's re ed or something.
This, tbh.
This. He made no adjustments out there last night, dude was lost...Presti, thank you once again
I don't know what kind of context makes that better, but I'll keep an open mind. That looks pretty dumb.
And trading away one![]()
Even worse than Scotty's "We're a free throw shooting team" comment
I think at this point, we can safely assume that okc coaches are just sock puppets. Durant and Westbrook are never going to buy into a system. Thats a negative on their abilities.
Fixed it
They really had something special in 2012, they were on an upward trajectory and the league wanted a LeBron-Durant rivalry. And ever since then they have made every wrong decision possible. I remember the day they traded Harden was when I knew the Spurs would win another le.
"KD crossed out" avi?![]()
Billy Donovan was one of the best college basketball coaches in the nation, but he's in over his head against Popovich and the Spurs. To be fair, most coaches are.
AFter watching the video the quote was totally fine tbh... we are probably never gonna shoot that well again in this series
I mean, there really weren't very many good defensive possessions so even if he was not talking broadly I still don't know what he's seeing.
Spurs may not shoot that well again, but it wasn't because of good defense. If the Spurs get the same looks they got in game 1, they should have an excellent shooting series.
Yeah, see, in my mind that doesn't make it better. When you have to call attention to the fact that not EVERY possession was bad, you should just say "we came out flat and they out-played us" or something. Or go the Pop route and say, "They made more shots than us." That's like talking about the fact that they won the garbage time battle. I guess it doesn't matter, except it makes him look weak.
I also didn't think their defense was any worse than it has been throughout the year. It was on the same level as it has been all year.
This is the PLAYOFFS!!!
If you don't up your game you go home, the Spurs just showed them that they will have to come with more intensity from this point forward. Good lesson for the Thunder, lets see how they play from this point forward, none of those margin of victory points transfer over for the next game.
