    ...And win Game 2?

I know it's a long shot. But Kenny on the Inside the NBA thinks Spurs got a chance at winning if they protest. If they win, will NBA give Game 2 to the Spurs?

    srs question....

Spurs lost. Game is over. Tough luck. End of story.

Would have been historical though if the League turned it around

Unprecedented in Sports. No chance of overturning a bad call. You also can't assume the Spurs were going to score another point.

League didn't overturn the Harden pushoff against the Dubs even though they admitted it was a mistake, and that would have benefited their Golden Boys. No way they rescue ratings-killer Spurs.

A team won a protest once about 10 years ago. You replay the game from the point of the call being changed. So we would basically replay the final 10 seconds.

I would think they could replay the game at the point of the missed call.

We get the call, then play the last 13 seconds or so. Not sure if that is a technical or not. If so, we would get 1 free throw and the ball. If not a technical and just an offensive foul, we would just get the ball. But, since they were over the foul limit, maybe we could get 2 FT's on the foul call?

    Makes your head spin...lol

If it was a regular season game they would probably replay it but since it is a playoff game they definitely wont

I remember a few years back they sent the Heat and Hawks back out for like 50 seconds because they mistakenly fouled Shaq out or something...

It's happened before in 1983 that a team won a protest:

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Lakers have an old score to settle.

Prior to their regular season game Wednesday, the two teams must play three seconds of an earlier game that does not yet exist in the record books because of a mis-ruling over a fake free throw by Laker Norm Nixon.
The game, which was played Nov. 30, ended in a double overtime victory for the Lakers. But the Spurs protested and the score will be settled with just three seconds left on the clock.
Leading 116-113 with four seconds left, the Spurs fouled Nixon, who made his first free shot, cutting the lead to 116-114. But Nixon faked the second free shot. The ball never left his hand, but both teams poured into the lane for the non-existent rebound.
The referees called a double lane foul and a jump ball. The Lakers won the jump, scored and tied the game 116-116. By the end of double overtime, the Lakers took the game 137-132.

If this decided the series I think it'd get protested and they replay the last couple of seconds..the media uproar doesn't help. It was a terrible missed call and nothing will change but hopefully Spurs use this as motivation

Spurs blew the game, simple as that, when only 1 player does well and the others suck that's a recipe for disaster. They did not deserve to win. That being said, maybe the ref's might be a bit more careful or a bit more on the Spurs side for the rest of the series after such a terrible call that went so viral around sports sites/shows and even had broadcasters such as CWEBB shining so much light on it. It could be a good thing for the Spurs that the ref's might call a fairer series against the leagues darling OKC, as long as more than 1 player shows up the rest of the series the Spurs will be fine. I don't feel bad for the Spurs cause they sucked and deserved to lose, LMA is the only one to feel bad for after that game.

I think not even in that case. They would move on.

Protesting would only serve to make a point like Cuban says.

Actually it's not unprecedented. The NBA has played the last seconds of a game, but usually it's because of a clock issue, not a missed call.

refs miss a lot of calls. Thunder deserved to win. LOL @ protesting... Also, the Spurs still got the ball and Danny Green just couldn't throw an easy pass.

I have a better idea. What if they would not come to play as a D-League team the next game. Perhaps that way they will get an easy 10 point win.

Yes, the Spurs can definitely protest. They should protest on behalf of Lamarcus against Tim, Kawhi and Tony. Those guys need to go back and actually play a whole first quarter. They make just ONE more shot and Spurs win the game.

They open an entire can of worms if they did. OKC then says, "oh but there's a blatant foul they missed on a shot in the third quarter. What about that?" Or "that three pointer they counted earlier in the fourth, Green's foot was on the line. Take that point away." It would just be a domino effect for teams that lose. And, as in replay reviews, fouls or non-fouls are not reviewable because they are judgment calls by the officials. Blatant as it was, a foul or non foul is not something the NBA allows to be questioned, reviewed, and changed. You start taking away the discretion of the officials. It's like an MLB manager challenging a strike 3 call after his batter strikes out on a called third strike, or an NFL referee reviewing whether a corner committed pass interference or not after it was NOT called. You just don't do it.

It may have been egregious. I don't think there's any weight to actually protest to get any type of change or replay.
