Icy Mug would be my choice, but given the question, I say bottle.

Bottles taste better, but only if they are brown or dark. Clear or green bottles let in too much UV and the beer gets skunky.

Bottle. Then you can walk up to you buddy, take your bottle, tap the top of his beer with yours and watch the poor bas try to catch all the foam. Its a cheap, asshole thing to do but I only break that move out when I'm really hammered.
Yes, if you want a European beer, get it on tap or get one that comes in a brown bottle.
personally - i'm a bottle girl myself.
tap is best, but I don;t normally drink beer out.. i mostly drink beer at home.
of course I'll drink free beer from a can no problem.

They both have their place. Definitely cans for driving around the ranch. There is nothing more disgusting than getting in to your ice chest for an ice cold brew and finding out that the case of cold bottle beer you had in your ice chest blew the caps off sloshing around...

With this caveat: clean tap lines. filthy lines can ruin the best beer. It makes getting draft beer kind of a crap shoot. Probably the best relatively mainstream beer I ever had was Anchor Steam on tap in Vegas -- the Venetian restaurants have very clean lines.
