Because it isn't going to happen and Spurs fans don't want D12 on the Spurs roster
actually it makes sense
he's looking for a big time deal
spurs get him on a one year low risk deal
show him what it takes to win
defensive player of the year back to back
last opportunity to make money
he's gotta be a nice guy
so he's gonna have to play ball
if he can work with us
we'll pay him
he'll get it
he'll get the money, he'll get love, he'll get the praise, and he'll get the fan love again
i was thinking about it last night
it makes the most sense
this is probably his best situation
no one was talking about it
and the spurs need the big man
LMA playing off the elbow
and him guarding the paint
we don't need him scoring
or just on pick and rolls
and on dumps and cleaning up boards
he already knows what SA is about
and nobody is greater than the team in SAi think its actually between dallas
and SA
if dallas pays him the big money
he's going to dallas
but SA is not gonna give him big money this summer
bc he doesn't deserve it. But If he wants to win.
And wants to clean his image. He better
come join that black and silver.
you heard it here first. D12 will remake his image in a Spurs jersey.

Spurs aren't getting any big-name signings this summer. It's over.
He hasn't gotten over himself -![]()
That guy is not committed to his craft (basketball). DH is a clown who rubs his teammates the wrong way.
The talent is there, but his passive aggressive tendencies are just too much to overcome. Pop might kill him if he coattailed it to SA.
For what it's worth, Jalen Rose said this should happen after the TNT interview. He can board and protect the rim while not taking shots away from Kawhi and LMA. I just can't see it with the horrible free throws and the stigma of the SVG interview. I'm pretty sure Dwight thinks himself a max player which makes the whole deal more off putting.
No... Howard will want to secure his last big contract and it will be a long term one. Some idiot team will still max him out for four years. That's more that what Howard is worth and he knows it. This is his last chance to secure a max and long contract. No way he turns that down.
for the miniumim..
we can talk..IMVHO
Hack a Howard during every close playoff game? That'd piss me off. Usually it's the Spurs who hack and piss people off lol. It's an interesting prospect but free throws alone put me off. If they get him I'd be all in for it though. Prefer Noah still if he's up for grabs.
I am definitely on the Howard train. I think he can bring alot of what we are missing in terms of rebounds and rim protection.
BUT... he is a guy who cares more about the $$ than the rings. I can see him going for the highest bidder.
Also, the free throw issue would be a big concern as well. unless, chip can work with him to atleast get into the high 60s, i can live with that.
Pop and RC aren't into signing divas on their team.
Why not? They already have Pop on the team.
Lol. I do think Dwight Howard could be a great fit here and you know Pop would lock him in the gym till he could hit free throws. I actually think he could be a major contributor. But it would have to be for the right price on a one year deal.
He might be an ex diva looking to remake his image, win a championship, and earn some respect.
Maybe he wants to feed his legion of kids with tacos. Tacos are cheap, and D12 looks cheap, so, who knows?
If he's not going to run the PnR and just look for post ups for himself, which he will, then you can get someone that does the things he does well (Rim protection, rebounding) for probably half the cost without all of the headaches. He would probably clog the lane for Kawhi and LMA more than Duncan, and that's really saying something.
Meh, look for someone like Dallas who throws around money to go after him and try to sign him tbh.
Yeah. The only "team cancer" that I want on the team is Boogie.
Please no, not another guy on the team to run ISO's for
Maybe if he wasn't a s of his former self....but at this point, no thanks. Not sure if I can think of someone who is further away from "Spurs culture".
Dallas is high on the list. Adding another piece just to keep them out of the lottery.
Only if he take a cut in salary and plays like Robinson did , rebound and block shots.0
