Is there any serious debate here as to who was the most dominating player in post season history next to MJ? How soon people forget on how absolutely unstoppable Shaq was in the playoffs.

Oh also...not thread worthy but bynum is blonde now..wtf?

2000 and 2001 Shaq was most dominant player in league history. Rest of the league threw their hands up and said " it...lets wait this out".

And Kobe ran his ass out of town which really led to Miami having every ring it has now. Without Shaq in Miami they don't ring in 2006, and without that Wade probably doesn't stick around. No Wade, no Lebron.

    Thanks Kobe.

I never liked Shaq but he was more dominant in a league with far more talent than there is in today's NBA.

Lakers frontline delivered two, despite Rapist's inefficient chucking, IMO TBH.

The problem with Daddy is you're left knowing, without a single doubt that there was so much more. That'll haunt a honkie.

Most dominant threepeat in league history, is pretty good, not like I was upset it ended sooner than later...

Yes, and as the years pass I appreciate it (3 peat) more, but, if those two would have went shoulder-to-shoulder it would have been shattering.

2001 Lakers lost A game during their playoff run. It included the epic curb-stomping of the Spurs (lost games 3 and 4 by a combined 70 points).

And people laugh at "today's NBA".

Theoretically, but doubtful in reality due to Kobe's psychotic ego, but yeah when I heard Shaq became a Laker I stopped watching the NBA for next few years till Pistons finally beat them, Shaq's dominance was disgusting.

Not saying much for to be "god level" on a team that hasn't won a playoff game in 4 years.

Shaq made good centers look like BS compe ion. You cannot successfully marginalize Shaq in his prime. He would have on Wilt.
