Lions got screwed over twice today. First on a pass interference call where the WR just tripped on the grass. That call later turned into a TD. Then at the end Detroit scored with under 20 seconds to give them the lead. They over-ruled the play within 30 seconds. You'd have to look at the play but it was clear to me he was inbounds and had possesion, either that or they should have said there wasn't evidence of a no catch. Refs only changed the call to get out of that stadium alive, them all. I could ref games better than these fools.

Its not the refs fault. They didnt force DET to draft Joey Harrington. He is a BUST!!

........No, he (the defender(Goodman)) was holding all on to his arm and jersey well past 5 yards. The receiver tripping, and falling down made it look worse, but the foul came before the receiver ever tripped. That was a good call.

Again, I disagree w/ you. If you watch the replay, he is still in bounds at the exact moment that the ball touches his hands.......but that is not "possesion"....by the time he pulls the ball in, tucks it, and controls possesion, his knee is well out of bounds.

I did thinbk they might have said not enough evidence to over turn......but clealry it was not a touchdown IMO.

But I do give much respect to Joey for a good job of leading them to an almost win at the end of the game. So close.
