Duncan wouldn't retire because of Durant. Duncan does what he wants because he is the GOAT so don't even give Durant that credit. I think Duncan was going to retire regardless.

There is no way Tim retires if Durant signs here. But it was a of a longshot. Why would he pick the Spurs over the Warriors? San Francisco is a much larger market and the Warriors have by far the best core in the league. There is no pressure on the guy, he is going to get tons of wide open shots in that offense and lots of layups too.
