Do we get a day off work?
Festival at Market Square?
S y Lares at Rosedale park?
Dunno if it has been posted, but SA mayor Ivy Taylor declared July 21 as Tim Duncan day. Great day for Timmy and the city of San Antonio! The only regret I have about being a Spurfan is the fact that I was in San Antonio for 4mos and never got the chance to see them play at the AT&T center, much less go there. At least I got to see them live at the staples center against the clips.

All true fans must knock over a plant on TD day.
Well played.![]()
They should probably announce plans for a statue of Tim downtown, and then unvail it on July 21 2017.
Yeah, its in the "Tim Duncan Retires." thread!
I'll be wearing jean shorts every July 21 from now on:

Meh,why give a holiday to a dude who won't give a f••k about it?!?
He'll be hiding out with Shidi in St Croix
Eh, my bad then. Close down this thread.
Never got to see him, and they weren't playing at home when I went to SA![]()
Damn we've been blessed with democrat mayors![]()
I got to see him from rookie year to his last playoff game here in SA. TONS of games throughout the 19 years. At least a dozen or so a season.
Last Spurs home game I saw was in the Alamodome. Probably before Duncan was drafted.
The only way I could have seen them in SA was the preseason games, but I was still in training and didn't finish until towards the end of October, and then had to leave the very day after graduation.
At least you got to see one. For me, I at least got to see them live, even though the big 3 were no longer in their primes, but still a good experience.
beyond well deserved!
Yes indeed!
