Ugh. Not looking forward to that ATL/CAR game, though I do concede it could be good. Another week of streaming for me, though. It's been rather convenient that Baltimore and Tampa haven't played at the same time recently.
oakland has historically struggled on the east coast in morning games, and its pretty unfortunate we opened with 3 road games in 4 weeks. playing in baltimore will be rough, though the ravens are one of the ugliest 3-0 teams in some time. i think it will be a close, ugly game that could come down to a late game penalty/turnover
next 4 games are vs SD, vs KC, at Jaguars, and at Bucs... its not unrealistic they find themselves 5-3 at the halfway point
Are you ok?
Some especially tough picks this week... been doing very well lately (34-14 through 3 weeks, and 2-1 so far with my surprise picks) but I'll be very lucky to crack 10 wins this week considering the hard schedule and since there's only 15 games.
Vikes are at home they should be favored.
I don't see CAR losing again for awhile... they've already had some unexpected losses
It's time for Amari to show up. I drafted him as my number 3 WR. Keenan Allen went out, and luckily I have Marvin Jones to couple with OBJ. I have Josh Gordon on the bench but I'm not projecting optimal impact until week 7 so I kind of need him to show up. He has had a few bad drops. I had, and still have high hopes for him for the year. OBJ has underperformed initially as well. Washington has looked damn good, but Murray seems to be the man. Defense, eh.
But, Neiko Thorpe has played well for us on Special Teams
Hawks should take a flier on marcel reece imo. he'd mesh well with wilson
I was actually hoping we'd carry a more competent FB. Tukuafu is a beast blocker, but not a well-rounded offensive player. Sure, he has caught a TD or two, but that is purely goal line trickery. We've had so many injuries at the TE, and RB position that we've been forced to maneuver some things around and not carry a FB.
It's ridiculous that teams already have a bye week.

So far I'm 34-14 overall and 2-1 in surprise picks! I think Avante has 16 or 17 losses.
Yeah I agree. Historically this has been a major beef of mine. But this year, it came at the perfect time as Wilson needs some time to heal, not to mention several other pivotal players who are on the mend, or working through issues. But I'd much rather a mid-season bye in a normal cir stance.
-Baltimore can't settle for fg's in this one...despite all their flaws, they can close September at 4-0 (all AFC opponents). This game in particular could very well have tie-breaking implications later on.
-Look for Buffalo to dig themselves an early hole (something like 17-3), then lose 23-17. Hopefully Captain Checkdown can eclipse 5.0 ypa passing for the first time this year.
Carolina will spank Atlanta imo...I can't trust the fugazi Falcons.
Giants-Vikings game should be entertaining. The G-Men are the only team in the NFL that can win or lose to anybody...they seriously are a gambler's nightmare
Agreed with you on that one. At least they re-shored up their defensive line. But that quarterback is like throwing darts blindfolded. It's led him to 2 SB rings and numerous disappointing no-playoffs runs, too.

Avante I thought you had Pittsburgh and New Orleans?
Maybe I should have picked against the Bungles... most overrated team in a long time coming into the season, I've known this for awhile, their QB is trash and their D can't stop big plays... why did I pick this joke team again![]()
looks like I could start the week 0-1 if this continues... not good.
lol they can't stop AJ Green because the Bengals keep putting him in situations to shine and break tackles... really wish the Cowboys would do this more with Dez as opposed to always running him in deep routes
