That speech was so full of illogical holes it made me laugh. It is sad really, when a president tries to lead the nation by the hand.

U.S. Has Disrupted 10 Al Queda Attacks
President Bush said today the United States and its allies have disrupted at least 10 serious plots by the al Qaeda network in the last four years, as he sought to rally the nation against international terrorists and warned foreign governments against supporting them.
In what the White House billed as a major speech, Bush told the National Endowment for Democracy in Washington that of the "10 serious al Qaeda terrorist plots" that he said have been disrupted since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, three involved "al Qaeda plots to attack inside the United States."
He added, "We've stopped at least five more al Qaeda efforts to case targets in the United States or infiltrate operatives into our country."
Bush did not elaborate.
Great news and I support the war on terror. Now if he'd only give us some Iraq strategy that will get us the out of there.

Manny, I wished you would do as much research on this problem as you do on hurricanes. You impressed me with you knowledge on hurricanes and depress me on your knowledge of what we must accomplish on our war on terror. He made alot of sense to me, if you will go back and see what he has said from the very beginning, it is going to be long, tedious and some of what goes on will not be known. All of which is true. We are not fighting a country with a government but a bunch of "wannabe's". We have been in a war for many years before Bush came into office, just that no one else had enough balls to face the facts. WTC was attack twice, the barracks in Saudi Arabia was attacked, The cole was attacked and I can't spell the other place in Ethiopa (sp). Come on get real.
