There are five QB's in that GOAT discussion.

    Otto Graham
    Johnny Unitas
    Joe Montana
    Peyton Manning
    Tom Brady

In all these GOAT discussions we MUST go with vs the era they played in. That's why Jim Brown gets the respect he does, no RB (he was actually a FB) dominated their era like he did. A real strong case can be made for Don Hutson being right there with Jerry Rice when it comes to wide receivers. Hutson dominated his era unlike any player at any position, he was catching THREE times as may passes as his peers in a season.

Anyone not getting/seeing the greatness of Tom Brady have no business "trying" to talk pro football, yep, they are clueless. He is totally amazing and in my book (seen them all since Unitas) is the GOAT. And I'm a Niners fan. If I had one game to play and could have any QB to lead my team, yep....Tom Brady. He is the best combo of finese/intellect/passing/decision making/leader we have seen.

I do understand how the others I mentioned can be in the GOAT debate however.

Now which punk ass know nothing about Don Hutson kid will....."but he cheated"....hahahahahaha~~~~~~~~~

My God guy, do you really think anyone gives a about that? What about he's in the top 4/5 in all the important QB stats, now add that SB success. And he still has 3/4 years left.

I agree and I was disgusted with Collinsworth last night for saying Rodgers is the best QB in the league... he was for a very short time but he's not anymore, he's still top 5 but not sniffing #1 anymore... the Packers have been playing some easy home games lately but 's about to get tough for them and they're just doing enough to win, nothing special... they're not the best team in their own division anymore and it shows.

Brady is clearly #1. Yes, it was against the Browns, but still... Brady is clearly the best.

3-4 years would put him above Favre and all the other legends for best longevity in NFL history.

No i think it's Sammy Baugh.

    Almanac got.

The bottom line is real simple...

Pete Carrol is one of the best college/pro football coachs of all time, only a fool wouldn't get that.

What are you ing re ed? Sammy Baugh is in no debate about the QB GOAT. His legend is his combo of QB, punter (amazing punter) and the fact he also played defense, 26 INTS~~~~ And, the fact he was the first cat to really toss the ball around.

Otto Graham played in 10 Championship games, and is considered by guys like myself to be the best pre John Unitas QB.

Where is that almanac that talks about Cannonball Butler, Rufus "The Roadrunner" Ferguson, "Choo Choo" Winters and Thunder Thornton at? Almanac Ken Thomas the brother of Rams RB Jewerl Thomas for me, ok? Talk to me about his track exploits and what happened to him in the NFL, can you? no ya can't.

Ken Thomas played DB at San Jose State and was named to the All-PCAA football team in 1981. He was drafted by the Chiefs in the 7th round (he was also drafted by the Oakland Invaders of the USFL that same year), and was converted to RB in the pros. He only played one full season with the Chiefs in 1983. He tore up his knee in preseason the following year and that was it.

As a track star at SJSU, he threepeated as the 100 meter champion in the Big West Conference. In 1979, he set a 100m time that still stands as one of the top ten in school history. He also contributed to two of the best 400m relay times in SJSU history.

So where did I find all that almanac trivia knowledge? The same place you found it: Google.

Read it and weep, fatty. You don't have any special "knowledge" that anyone else can't dig up just by using a search engine correctly. Your almanac trivia isn't special, impressive or worth spamming other people's threads with.

You asked about his track exploits and what happened to him in the NFL. I answered. Now, you're moving the goalposts in pathetic fashion. You can't stand the fact that your frantic Googling has been exposed.

Stud fullback Lorenzo Neal went to Lemoore HS where he was a stud wrestler also, Lemoore about 10 mile west of Hanford. That's where I first saw him play, yep...a man vs boys.

Dude, I don't Google anything, I have no need for it.

So why not fill in those lane of SJS sprinters if it's all on Google, well?
