Davis is like a top 8 player in the league and potentially top 4 but my God is that Roster terrible.
too bad for him...I doubt Holiday resigns.
just dropped 50 in their home opener, a loss.
I'm flying to SATown to watch the Spurs home opener against the Pels on Saturday. That will probably be a great game with the Pels mad they lost at home with AD dropping 50.

The Pelicans play the Warriors on Friday as well. They're going to start their season 0-3. At one point, I looked at the boxscore, and AD had 28 points. The next high point man on the team had 4. Such a e roster.
That is one block away from a 50 point 5x5. I don't think anyone has done that before.
It's literally AD and a bunch of scrubs. I know NO has nuked the Spurs over the past few years, but if the Spurs find a way to lose to that roster...
The thought of AD on the Spurs current roster gives me an explosive chub.
we'd be a lot worse off.
And yet you feel inclined to give him a pass, while lambasting David Robinson for a similar situation...?
Stat padder on a team like Kevin Love
AD for pau straight up?
it's not even a possible trade.
Throw in parker
lol.. then no
I am sure that kawhistorm will be glad to corroborate that with stats showing that the Pels were actually better when AD went to the bench last season.
(I don't know why my "mention" function won't work on "kawhistorm"...
He dropped a hot load on them just like what happened to DPG over the ST ownership. He is gonbe the Adrian Peterson of the NBA.
Losing Ryan Anderson was a big blow to them.
On that night Popovich will probably rest Leonard, Aldridge, Green, Simons, and Mills. He'll go with a starting lineup of Gasol, Anderson, Parker, Dedmond at the 5, and Bertans.
They've never been better with him on the bench, tbh..he's legit, but he has some major defensive flaws that people overlook for whatever reason, particularly man defense..
The Pelicans have consistently been among the worst teams in the NBA at defending the paint, since he entered the league..
He's also extremely fragile, as everybody knows..
no Eric Gordon or Ryan Anderson in NO ... they do not stand chance even if Davis makes 80
Wow... that is disappointing. Davis needs a legit co-star.
LMA in the other hand is always healthy... and looked 25 years old out there last night.
Lets trade lma and patty for him-st
Yeah, with Holiday and Evans injured, there's no other legit starter and the only other player who projects to be one, is Hield. It's probably the least talented roster in the West.
Demps and Gentry probably won't last the season and it's only a matter of time until Davis wants out.
He is my pick for the early shocking coach firing that happens annually in the NBA..It also doesn't seem like he has the rapport AD had established with Monty Williams..I think that's spot somebody like Jeff van Gundy might jump back in to coach..
