Hollywood hasn't even scratched the surface when it comes to the sci fi, fantasy novel becoming a movie. So much stuff out there. Olaf Stapeldon's ODD JOHN would be perfect, as just one example.

If done right it could a Star Wars level film series. The Dune universe has enough material to make like 10 movies.
