LMA is not cut from the same cloth as Kawhi, Tim Duncan, Manu, or TP and Danny Green (to a lesser extent).

There is a reason Portland never did serious damage in the playoffs while he was there. There was an 8 or 9 year pattern there.

All in all, I still like LMA's work here in San Antonio better than the small sample of Gasol - Pau's contribution is underwhelming to a much greater extent.

Pau is like LMA with even less defense and effort. Holy ... Duncan, come back! At least play Dedmon more than 8 minutes/game! I'd rather a high-effort, foul delivering big, than some blase tall dude, standing around, doing his thing, hitting open shots from time to time, in the offense.
