Yes this is another one of my official predictions.

Sorry folks. We are not going anywhere with a washed out PG, two soft stiff bigs and one of them (Lamarsha) being possibly more mentally soft than Jefferson.

Evita is playing well but as usual he will injure himself before the playoffs. And we basically have noone else. Only watch the games for Kawhi IMO.

This team aint going nowhere without a major move

    Truth bombs.

Not to mention Pop has mailed it in for his career tbh. That got doens't care about winning anymore championships, which has been obvious since 2014, which is a damn shame seeing as how Duncan came back so he could go for 6. People on here on other teams being a regular season team, when in reality the Spurs are the ULTIMATE regular season team. Will win the usual 55+ and have people believing the hype, only for Glenn Rivers or D'Antoni to school Pop in the playoffs.

I have never recalled D'Antoni ever beating Pop in the playoffs.

What a bold and surprising prediction, impressive! Tell us more, do you think Cleveland will perhaps win the east too?

1 team wins, the others don't. It's pretty good odds to say anyone will lose tbh.

Sure there is a high possibility of the Clitters being injured in the POs but chances are they probably will be fairly healthy. So no way Spurs get past CP3 or the Worriers.

The way CP3 owns the spurs is a similar way Kyrie owns the Worriers. So the finals are pretty much set in stone Cavs vs winner of Clits/Worriers

With the Cavs winning it all

Exactly. 86.6% of the teams in the league are out by the end of second round. Way to go out on a limb, OP.

Edit: to say "end of" second round

I'm glad people can make these conclusions this early in the season. We had a major roster remake this summer, including losing the foundation of the team...Tim Duncan. I would expect at least 3/4ths of the season to go by before I had a clue how they would do in the playoffs. All I know is the Spurs will be seeded high and will have home court advantage for the first two rounds at least. Other than that, there are too many variables, including a new starter and new players off the bench for me to know how this team will do next May.

Obviously the chances are lower for a round 1 exit. But it wouldnt surprise me. We are 1 Ginosely minor injury or Kawhi pinky injury from a round 1 massive upset. Id say chances are about 10%. No I wont take that bet obviously

Yes but you could say the same about every team. How far do the Cavs go without LeBron? Or Houston without Harden? Or even GS without Curry. Injuries are part of the game and are factors that show winning a le requires skills and luck. Spurs have as good a shot as any to win a le.

While we are speculating, would the Spurs have won the le in 2000 if Timmy hadn't injured his leg at the end of the season after landing on Pollard following a massive dunk? Lakers were clearly the best team in 2001 and had aura of invincibility in 2002, but were totally beatable in 2000 and had a few close calls. But alas, Timmy gets injured and Spurs lose in Round 1 to the Suns.
