They show things at the same time on the east coast and in Texas.
This has got to be one of the best do entaries I've ever seen. It's about the 1900 Galveston Storm and it's currently showing on the History Channel. I just finished watching it on the east coast, so it's probably showing now in Texas. It is absolutely gripping and in film quality it's as good as any feature film.
If you love great do entaries, DON'T MISS THIS ONE!!

Actually, that's not always the case with some networks...I'm not sure about the history channel. In any case, it'll come on again (and it's on DVD). I think you especially Manny (and all you other hurricane geeks) should try to check this out if you can.

Just did a little googling. The do entary is based on a book of the same name and apparantly a film is under development. Here's a link to the book.

I'll take your word on things not showing at the same time, but that doesn't make any sense to me what so ever. Either way, we live without cable so I'm limited to football today. But thats ok. It's football!
That book was boring in the begining, it doesn't get good the the storm hits and the entertaining stuff ensues
Yeah, the whole first half of that book is about the barometer dropping.![]()
The last few chapters get really interesting though. I'd probably watch the doc.
Skip to the last part. Needless background for the first 45 min or so.
We read that book in Senior English class...in made a good pillow....
We both know you didn't read that.
saw that movie.....awesome!!
