should be enough to get us to the WCF. If they don't then they're trash.![]()
Kawhi, LMA, and Parker*

Kawhi, LMA and the System
Two things need to happen: a) Those two need to consistently perform at a high level and b) The role-players are going to need opportunities to score. I don't think they're getting to the WCF unless some third player can get like 15-20 each game, along with another one or two in double-figures.
We go for periods (it seems almost by design) where Kawhi does not even touch the ball. Furthermore Using Kawhi to handle has diminished.
If they are a two man show and others can't score it doesn't look good.
We have to remember how in 2014 Lebron was still great but he didn't get help from anyone else having good games and it wasn't enough... on the opposite end, that Spurs team found a groove where a lot of guys found a rhythm and made shots and in that run it was actually different roleplayers in different series having good games.
I sometimes see that possibility with this team as well. Not that the Spurs are going to allow their two best players to be schemed out entirely, but I think different roleplayers will have opportunities to step up depending on the opponent, the matches, and the defensive schemes thrown out there to take one or two options from the Spurs out. We shall see Pop's coaching chops.
Aldridge improving over the last few weeks is a positive sign ... but still a healthy Clippers team is the roadblock ... they are not shabby either
LMA and Kawhi are no Shaq and Kobe, so the Spurs will need Parker and Gasol to score more than Derek Fisher and Robert Horry ever did.
While I agree the role-players need to step up (especially to beat the Dubs or Cavs), I don't think the path to the WCF will be all that hard. If it turns out to be Houston in the second round, I trust Pop to out manuever D'Antoni as he always has, and it won't be hard to beat a one-man team over the course of the series. We've got the players to handle a Houston attack. I'd say Spurs in 6 tops, maybe 5.
Truthfully, Utah or a low-seeded but suddenly healthy Clippers in the first round scare me more.
In other news, look like Manu is ready to move back to Bahia Blanca:

I didn't specify "Breaking"
Their high PnR KILLS us every ing time! They run it until we can stop it and... well... we can't! I honestly hate watching Clippers vs Spurs games, it's so frustrating.
Why you have to be a simpleton? Like this ish is so simple... If it was, Lebron would have 6 les by now.
As long as we don't have to play the Clippers we'll have a good chance at making it to the WCF.
None of that matters because the Spurs will get pick and rolled to death with Pau and Parker getting major minutes. This team's defensive numbers are very misleading.

But LMA and Kawhi wont ever have to play the Spurs like S and K...
Most dynamic pair of forwards in the NBA.
A healthy Clippers team will beat the Spurs in 5, and a Houston series could very well go 7 games.
It should be enough as long as the hero starting at PG recognizes that. That's the Spurs' biggest roadblock.
