He makes that game winner from the corner, IMO.

    Maybe, maybe not.

He most likely doesn't smear feces all over himself and scream incomprehensible Mexican while throwing the ball into the third row, instead of trying to make the shot

And he tanked a FT after that, that could easily have been the game loser.

    Sometimes stats mean nothing.

The Spurs are 'the best team in the league defending the 3-point shot' but Hawks and Bucks beat them from the 3.

    Hardaway, first. Brogden, tonight.

He would have been the best PG on the Spurs.

But PATFO prefers Murray's flashy handles to Brogdon's defence, 3 ball and BBIQ.

PATFO was rolling the dice for a 1B option of the future, or at least a robin for Batwhi. Brogdon max ceiling seems to be a 3rd or 4th option on a championship level team. But he sure would look damn good wearing silver & black right now.

Brogdon reminds me of George Hill.

Brogdon was both the ACC Defensive Player of the Year and the ACC Player of the Year. He has guarded point guards to power forwards, and his remarkable improvement year on year showed no signs of abating. And his game management and distribution reminded some scouts of Andre Miller. He's a very different player to George Hill.

Not sure why Pop put Kawhi on him in the 4th given that we were getting killed by J Parker and Beasley and the dagger happened after Kawhi guarded him and then switched leaving Brogden open for that three.

This. Close the thread lol. They got good value from Brogdon though for sure, not saying the kid can't play.

He is very good for a rookie, but he is 24 y/o, so it's not a big surprise that he is more ready than most rookies.

Even though he had a solid game last night against SA, his defense was not very good. TP had his way against him quite easily with basic vet moves.

the Bucks got great value in the 2nd round, but I still think SA is better long-term with Dejounte. He is way younger and has more upside.

Brogdon is a very good 3 & D guy which are two thing NOT associated w/ Andre Miller.

Brogdon isn't a better playermaker than the CURRENT version of G. Hill.
