Let's just give lebron home court then.![]()
The Rockets could EASILY free-fall like the Cripples if Harden turns an ankle & is out for 2 weeks. Eric Gordon just sat out a game w/ injury & he isn't a quick healer so they need all the cushion they can get to hold of the Cripples when Blake returns at the end of the month.
Homecourt is overrated for a team full off vets as the Spurs lost two games at home to the Cripples in '15 & two more games in '16 to OKC after having only lost once all season long. The 2/3 seeding might be the difference b/w playing OKC, Memphis or Jazz in the 1st rd but any of those 3 teams could EASILY be the 7th seed.
Spurs already swept the Rockets in Houston & they have been a better road team so couldn't really care whether they finish 2nd or 3rd.
IMO, the current standing isn't going to change much besides the Grizz/Jazz swapping spots: http://scores.espn.com/nba/standings
Let's just give lebron home court then.![]()
Doesn't matter, Spurs will get punked by the Clippers before the WCF.
Completely agree man
Mbah a Moute > Kiwi
Yep, finish him off in Gm 6 by turning off the AC.![]()
best case
1. GSW
2. SAS
3. HOU
4. LAC
5. Jazz
6. MEM
7. OKC
8. POR/SAC/DEN/ NOP
GSW Vs. POR/SAC/DEN/ NOP
SAS Vs. OKC
HOU Vs. MEM
LAC vs. JAZZ
GSW
SAS
LAC
I could see Memphis possibly upsetting Houston if they were to play, which would mean the Spurs would get them in the 2nd round while GSW and LAC fight it out.
actually best case for the Spurs would be
1) GSW (we could still catch them but Pop won't try)
2) SAS (with better record than the LeBrons)
3) Rockets
4) Memphis
5) Clippers
6) Jazz
7) OKC
8) Por/NOP/Sac
that way Clips are on Dubs side of the bracket, plus Memphis who gives the Dubs fits might be their 2nd round matchup
lucking into Memphis at the WCF would be sweet, while dealing with heroballers Westbrook and Harden on our side.
You guys seriously want us to lose in 6 games to OKC, for the third time with HCA?![]()
Scared of team Westbrook![]()
trying to dodge teams while still having to eventually face the Warriors
We would sweep them. Even playing 5 on 8 like we always do, that series ends in 4.
IQ is scared
Getting the Clippers away from us is key. I'd love to se Memphis on the Warriors' side. They'd beat the crap out of them.
I am not afraid of either of them, but if I had to choose an opponent out of these two it would be the clippers. They beat us once, and they had their main guys playing inspired basket-ball, and we lost in the details not that they were the better team. And they are not the better team. Regular season doesn't mean a thing. The year when we last won it all, Spurs were 0-8 against playoff teams around this time of the year.
Clippers are not what they used to be. Rockets are on a hot streak, and Harden plays as good as anyone right now.
Yeah, Zaza/Gaymond would give Pau/LMA fits & Klay goes off against the Spurs just like Re .
Kerr is also dumb enough to take the ball out of Wardell's hands so Dominos can run ISO plays instead of PnRs to expose Pau/Tony.![]()
